• Please contact Rebecca to inquire about fees. Rates reflect Rebecca's credentials, experience, and community standards. Payment is due at the time of service.

  • Rebecca is an in-network provider for Anthem Blue Cross UCSHIP (University of California Student Health Insurance Plan). Rebecca reserves a certain number of slots for UCSHIP students, and all of these slots are currently full.

Rebecca is not contracted with any other insurance panels; however, if you have a PPO plan, you are eligible for reimbursement. These are the questions that Rebecca recommends asking your insurance panel to determine what they will reimburse:

    • What is my deductible?

    • What is the allowed amount for CPT code 90834 (therapy)?
      This typically ranges from $80-$250

    • What percent do you reimburse for an out of network provider?
      This typically ranges from 30%-70%

Examples: If you coverage allows for an “allowed amount” of $250 and reimburses 70%, you will get reimbursed $175 per session. If your insurance allows for an “allowed amount” of $80 and covers 50% of this amount, you will get reimbursed $40 per session.

*Please note that insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis in order to qualify for reimbursement.

  • As of January 1, 2022, according to the No Surprises Act, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

You are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges per your request or at the time of scheduling. While it is not possible for a psychotherapist to know, in advance, how many psychotherapy sessions may be necessary or appropriate for a given person, this form provides an estimate of the cost of services provided. Your total cost of services will depend upon the number of psychotherapy sessions you attend, your individual circumstances, and the type and amount of services that are provided to you. If you have any further questions and/or concerns, feel free to visit the above mentioned website.

  • Since the scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time specifically for you, you will be expected to pay for the appointment unless you provide at least 48 hours notice.

*Please note that insurance plans typically do not cover missed or canceled sessions.
