• Please contact Rebecca directly to inquire about fees. Rates are set based on Rebecca’s credentials, years of practice, and community standards. Payment is made at the time of service.

Rebecca offers a limited amount of sliding scale slots based on financial need. If this is a concern for you, please contact her to discuss this option further. If Rebecca is not able to accommodate you, she can provide you with referrals.

  • Rebecca is an in-network provider for Anthem Blue Cross UCSHIP (University of California Student Health Insurance Plan). Rebecca reserves a certain number of slots for UCSHIP students, and all of these slots are currently full.

For all other insurance plans, please contact your insurance provider in order to determine whether or not your policy covers out-of-network mental health providers. Upon request, Rebecca may provide a statement for you to submit to your insurance company for the possibility of partial or full reimbursement.

Rebecca encourages all clients to contact their insurance provider directly prior to your first session and ask the following questions:

    • Does my policy cover out-of-network mental health providers?
    • What is my deductible and has it been met?
    • What is the allowed amount for CPT code 90834 (therapy)?
    • What percentage of my bill will be covered for services obtained by an out-of-network provider?
    • How many sessions will be covered per calendar year?
    • Does my plan cover teletherapy?

*Please note that insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis in order to qualify for reimbursement.

  • As of January 1, 2022, according to the No Surprises Act, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

You are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges per your request or at the time of scheduling. While it is not possible for a psychotherapist to know, in advance, how many psychotherapy sessions may be necessary or appropriate for a given person, this form provides an estimate of the cost of services provided. Your total cost of services will depend upon the number of psychotherapy sessions you attend, your individual circumstances, and the type and amount of services that are provided to you. If you have any further questions and/or concerns, feel free to visit the above mentioned website.

  • Since the scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time specifically for you, you will be expected to pay for the appointment unless you provide at least 48 hours notice.

*Please note that insurance plans typically do not cover missed or canceled sessions.
